Ensuring Accountability

At Watson-Thomas Funeral Home we have enhanced your trust by opening our own on-site crematory as a result of our concern that proper cremation procedures be followed. We are the only funeral home in Galesburg with an onsite crematory. The trust you place in us is sacred and we should do everything possible to maintain complete control of the cremation service and process. Our on-site crematory ensures your loved one never leaves our care, giving us all peace of mind.

 


Religious Guidelines Followed

We embrace and respect cultural and religious diversity. Working with a family’s clergy or cultural leader, we make sure your religious guidelines are strictly followed. 

 


Highest Possible Standards

The Watson-Thomas Crematory Chapel is operated by carefully trained and licensed staff. We strictly adhere to a Cremation Code of Ethics. The state-of-the-art equipment is maintained at the highest possible standards and is environmentally safe. We encourage personal inspection and are the only funeral home in the area with a special viewing room located next to our crematory to facilitate those who wish to be present for the start of the cremation process. We would be happy to give you a personalized tour of the facility.
