Lynwood T. Sommerfeld

Lynwood T. Sommerfeld, 71, of Williamsfield, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Lynwood was born October 31, 1940 in Evergreen Park, the son of Theodore R. and Catharine D. (Beahler) Sommerfeld.  Lynwood is survived by two brothers, Eobert C. (and Charlotte) of Orland Park and Theodore, Jr. of Illinois.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Interment of Lynwood's cremated remains will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago.
