Sharon K. Mallender

Sharon K. Mallender, 69, of Galesburg, died at 3:04 a.m. Tuesday November 4, 2008 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.   Sharon was born on June 16, 1939 in Galesburg, the daughter of William and Vivian Lundquist Mallender.  Sharon is survived by numerous cousins, 2 aunts, and 2 close friends.   Sharon worked as a bookkeeper at the Carriage House in Galesburg, last working in the office at the Galesburg Clinic.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, the after 5 club, and enjoyed reading.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2008 at Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Scarlett officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
