Adam V. Davis, age 15, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at his residence. Adam was born in Coral Springs, Florida, on April 2, 1993, the son of Myron V. and Mary Ann Harrison Davis. He was raised in the Adair, Galesburg and Monmouth area. He was currently a freshman at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Monmouth. Adam enjoyed computers and video games, playing soccer at the YMCA and swimming. He loved to be of service to his friends and loved mentoring young children. Adam was a delivery boy for the Galesburg Register Mail. Adam had given his heart to the Lord. He is survived by his parents, Myron and Mary Ann Davis of Monmouth, one brother Benjamin Davis, of Monmouth, two aunts Susan Wade of Springfield, and Mollie Pennock and Gordon of West Lafayette, Indiana, three uncles Robert Harrison and Ruth of Industry, Illinois, Murray Davis and Donna of Hickory, North Carolina and Fred Davis of Ocola, Florida. Also surviving are a number of cousins and other relatives. Preceding Adam in his death are his maternal grandparents Bennie and Billie Harrison of Industry and his paternal grandparents. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Countryside Bible Church in rural Monmouth. Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery. Adam's family will be present to receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth on Monday, June 2, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being established for the Cornerstone Christian Academy
