Anna N. Keithley

Anna Norine Keithley, 92, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Liberty Village Manor Court, Freeport, IL. Anne was the eldest of five children born November 16, 1924 in Monmouth and the daughter of James and Nora (Feehan) Craig. She married Joseph Keithley February 7, 1948 at Immaculate Conception. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe, sisters Mary Twomey and Catherine Bennett, and brothers Jack and Eddie Craig. For more than 20 years, Anne worked for Howard & Padella Law Office. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and served many years with Altar & Rosary Society, Red Cross, and the Monmouth hospitals. Anne was an avid reader, demonstrated incredible proficiency with cross word puzzles, had a delightful sense of humor, and participated many years in YMCA aqua exercise classes. Her circle of friends in Monmouth were extensive, and she was an all-time favorite of residents and staff the year-half at Liberty Village. Survivors include two children, Julie (Bill) Dreibelbis of Freeport, IL and Bill (Maureen) Keithley of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren, Amy (Ben) Dreibelbis Fairweather, Charles (Ashley) Keithley, Gabriel (Kathleen) Keithley, Cara Dreibelbis, Nora Keithley (Robert) Sutherland, and John William Keithley; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation Anna's family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mass of the Christian Burial Mass of the Christian Burial is planned for 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, Illinois. Interment will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are being established for Immaculate Conception Church or OSF Holy Family Medical Center Auxiliary, both of Monmouth.
