B. Keith Henry

B. Keith Henry of Oquawka, age 56, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1956 in Macomb, Illinois. Keith is the son of Keith L. and Roberta Taflinger Henry. He was raised in Sciota and Macomb. Keith attended both Media High School and Southern High School and later obtained his GED. He married Linda Kae Cassiday on August 8, 1977 in Monmouth, Illinois and she survives. Keith was employed by the Village of Oquawka serving as the street and water superintendent. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, his family, and tormenting the grandchildren. He very much enjoyed "pal" ing around with his brothers. Keith also enjoyed owning and riding and working with mules. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Oquawka, and two daughters Teresa Buffum of Oquawka, and Kristi (Dave) Underwood of Monmouth, his parents, Roberta Henry (Jack) of Oquawka, and Leon Henry (Shirley) of Burlington, Iowa. One grandson, four granddaughters, one great grandson, and one great granddaughter also survive. Two brothers, Brent (Cindy) Henry and Harve (C.J.) Henry both of Oquawka; He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Services:Cremation is being accorded. Currently, no visitation or service is being planned.
