Barbara Bracken

GALESBURG --- Barbara S. Bracken, 69, of Galesburg passed away at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at Galesburg Terrace. She was born August 10, 1943 in Cloverport, KY to Boyd and Mary Lindsey Payton. She is survived by a son, Michael Hornke; a daughter, Linda Burns; two brothers, Boyd Payton and Larry Payton; a sister Audrey Tracy; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Andrew Payton and Donald Payton. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
