Beverly A. Wade

Beverly A. Wade, age 68, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away on August 9, 2008 at OSF St.Mary's Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. Beverly was born January 31, 1940 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Frederick K. and Lula E. Bowen Hurxthal. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended Monmouth schools and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1858. Beverly was employed ten years at the former Forfit Company in Monmouth as a seamstress. She then worked at Maytag Corporation in Galesburg for 30 years before retiring in 1999. Beverely is an amatuer artist and enjoyed painting and Folk Art and craft. She collected Santa Claus' and like to Crochet. She also loved and was addicted to her computer and her E-Mail. She was a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter Luellen Vinic of Galesburg, Illinois and One Son Terry L. Wade of St.Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Two Grandchildren survive Ben and Ethan Wade. Also Beverly's mother Lula E. Hurxthal of Galesburg, Illinois survives. She is preceded in her death by her Father and all of her Grandparents. Services:A memorial service will be at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm No calling hours or visitation is being planned by the family. In Lieu of Flowers a memorial fund is being established for Beacon of Hope Hospice in Galesburg, Illinois.
