Bonita Joyce Goff

Bonita Joyce Goff, age 62, of Biggsville, Ill. passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Hospice Home in West Burlington, Iowa. Joyce was born on January 4, 1945, in Monmouth, Ill. the daughter of Edward and Gloria Britton Switzer. She was reared and educated in Monmouth, attending Monmouth Public Schools. Joyce was first married to Marvin D. Hindman, Jr. She later married Richard M. Goff on December 20, 1993, in Gladstone, Ill. He survives. Joyce first worked at Meling's Restaurant in Monmouth. She then worked at Sylvania as a lineman in Burlington, Iowa. She later worked as a cook at the Biggsville Grade School and then worked as a cashier at Boyers Meat Market. She lastly worked as a cook at Country Fun Restaurant in rural Biggsville. Joyce loved flowers and gardening. She is survived by her husband Richard M. Goff of Biggsville, one daughter Tammy Mason and Tim of Kirkwood and one son Jeff Hindman of Stronghurst, Two step daughter Caralea Link and Buck of Oquawka, Ill. and Maralea Wright and Dennis of Charleston, Ill. and one step son Dickie Goff and Renee of Biggsville, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one sister Marianne Switzer of Monmouth and one brother Carl Switzer and Jane of Monmouth, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death are her parents, and her first husband Marvin D. Hindman, Jr. Services:Cremation has been accorded. No service is being planned. Memorials can be made to the Hospice Home of Great River Medical Center in West Burlington and sent to P O Box 292, Biggsville, IL 61418. Turnbull Funeral Home in Biggsville is in charge of the arrangements.
