Bonnie J. Keever

Bonnie J. Keever, age 80, of Gladstone, Illinois; passed away at 11:45 am Sunday February 26, 2012 at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst, Illinois. Bonnie was born January 1, 1932 in Burlington,IA and is the daughter of Clarence E and Bertha L Polson Millizer. She was raised in Gladstone and attended the Gladstone school and G&O high school. Bonnie was previously married to Lloyd R. Keever. Bonnie was a homemaker and first was employed by Selby's Turkey and Produce in Burlington, IA. She then worked for a time at Central Soya also in Burlington, IA. Lastly Bonnie did private home care for the elderly of a number of years until she retired. She attended the Stronghurst Christian Church and enjoyed playing Bingo. Surviving are two daughters Judy (James ) Moony of Gladstone, Illinois and Debbie (Wayne) Crawley of Burlington, Iowa, and one son Russell (Dixie) Keever of Fort Wayne, IN. There is one grandson Stephen, one granddaughter Lee, and three great grandchildren. There is one sister Eileen Schmeiser in Burlington, IA and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister, and one grandson Scott. Services:Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Friday March 2, 2012 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, IL. Her family plans to receive friends at the funeral home for an hour prior to the service Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
