Bonnie J. Leary

Bonnie E. Leary, aged 80 of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 2:00 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Monmouth Nursing Home in Monmouth, Illinois. She was born on June 9, 1932 in New Boston, Illinois and is the daughter of Clifford J. and Edna Mae Hayes Smith. Bonnie was reared and educated in New Boston, where she attended local schools and High School. She was married on January 23, 1961 to William J. Leary in Monmouth, Illinois and he is surviving. Bonnie is a homemaker in her own home. Earlier she worked in housekeeping at Melings Motel for a number of years. She is a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Monmouth, Illinois. She enjoys shopping and crafts. Bonnie is survived by her husband William of Monmouth, Illinois, one daughter, Cindy Brown (Jamie) of Clearwater, Ohio; and one son Dale Leary of Monmouth, Illinois. There are seven grandchildren also surviving. Bonnie is preceded in her death by her parents, a brother Dale, and a sister Jean. Services:Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, Illinois. Interment will be in St.Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, on Tuesday at 6:00 pm with the family receiving friends for the hours following the Rosary service.
