"Butch" Oscar Schilb, Iii

Oscar "Butch" Schilb, III, age 39, of Kirkwood, Ill., passed away at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill. Butch was born on April 18, 1968 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Oscar Jr. and Elwanda Fisher Schilb. He was reared and educated in Monmouth attending Monmouth Public Schools, Monmouth High School and Yorkwood High School. Butch first worked at Farmland doing night clean up and then Spacemark doing building construction. Lastly he went to work for Nelson Tree Service. Butch enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, NASCAR, golf and country music. He was an avid story teller. Butch loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his finance Carla Gillette, of Kirkwood, one son Oscar Schilb IV of Kirkwood, his mother, Elwanda Schilb of Monmouth, one sister Toni Schilb of Rantoul, Ill. and one brother Adam Foreman of Rantoul. He is also survived by one niece Olivia Patterson, and two nephews Blake Schilb and Tyler Patterson II all of Rantoul, several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father Oscar Schilb Jr., his grandparents and one brother John Schilb Services:A funeral service will be at 11:00 am. on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Cremation will be accorded following the service. His family will be present to receive friends at Turnbull's on Sunday, February 17, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being established to be designated later. Cards may be sent to P.O.
