Carol A. Millard

Carol A. Millard, age 71, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 6:10 A.M. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at her residence in Oquawka. Carol was born on March 19, 1947 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert and Louis Forman. She attended school in the area and graduated from Yorkwood High School. She married Donald E. Millard in Monmouth, Illinois and he is surviving. Carol worked at Maytag in Galesburg, Illinois and retired from there in 1999. She was a member of the Oquawka Eagles Club. Carol enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and traveling with her husband. Carol is survived by her husband Donald, two daughters; Barbara Millard and Christine Millard both of Oquawka, IL, three sons; Donald Millard II of Oquawka, IL, Timothy Millard of Galesburg, IL, and Gary (Christa) Millard of Oquawka, IL, one brother, David Foreman of Monmouth, IL, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers. As were Carol's wishes, cremation is being accorded. No services are currently planned.
