Carolyn D. Hanson

Carolyn D. Hanson, age 65, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 1:26 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Aperion Care North in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on October 28, 1954 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Sam Eugene and Dolores Margaret (Hoy) Clark. Carolyn grew up in Monmouth and was a graduate of Monmouth High School. She later attended Carl Sandburg College and Western Illinois University where she attained a BA in Physiology and Sociology. Carolyn worked for the Galesburg Research Hospital, Cameron Christian Daycare in Cameron, Illinois, and Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth, Illinois. She very much loved her pets and her family.
Carolyn is survived by one sister; Sandra Clark of Monmouth, Illinois, two brothers; Richard (Annette) Clark of and Dennis Clark, both of Monmouth, Illinois, cousins; Joe (Brenda) Clark of Monmouth, Illinois, and Pam Brown of Pataskala, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenny Clark.
As were Carolyn's wishes, cremation is being accorded. Interment will be at a later date. A memorial fund is being established for her family.
