Carolyn S. Poulson

Carolyn S. Poulson, age 61, of Monmouth; passed away at her Monmouth residence on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 7:55 am. Carolyn was born on July 7, 1952 in Monmouth and is the daughter of Donald and Ethel Lundeen Sickles. She was raised and educated in Monmouth where she attended Monmouth Schools and Monmouth High school. She was first married to James Renwick on September 7, 1973 here in Warren County. She was later married to David Poulson on August 15, 1984 also in Monmouth, Illinois. Carolyn worked with her Dad on their farm in Monmouth; she also worked for a time at Western Stoneware. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are two daughters Tammy (Len) Brentise and Donna Renwick (Jake Gorman), both of Monmouth, Illinois. One son, Gary (Amanda) Renwick is also surviving in Montana. There are nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Services:A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:30 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Her family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Monmouth Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established by her family.
