Casey D. Kidwell

Casey Dale Kidwell, age 39, of Monmouth, Ill., passed away at 10:25 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009, in Canton, Ill. Casey was born December 19, 1969, in Monmouth, the son of Larry D. and Joyce A. Crain Kidwell. Casey was raised and educated in Monmouth and attended Monmouth High School. On October 11, 2009, Casey married Heather Mason. She survives. Casey worked as a carpet installer, at Gates Rubber Company in Galesburg and Well Pet Food in Monmouth. Casey enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, scuba diving, carpentry, working out and mixed martial arts fighting. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with is family and friends, especially his wife and son. Surviving Casey are his wife Heather Kidwell of Monmouth, one son Gentry Dale Kidwell of Monmouth, his mother Joyce (David) Malcom of Monmouth, his father Larry Kidwell of Berwick, Ill., two brothers, Barton (Stacy) Kidwell and Branson Malcom both of Monmouth, two sisters, Julie (Steve) Vanskike of Berwick and Shanea (Tyler) Ferch of Monmouth. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, friend Janeen Berry of Monmouth and special friends Jimmy (Monica) Lee of Bushnell, Ill. Preceding him in death are maternal and paternal grandparents. Services:A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009, at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. His family will be present to receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service. A memorial fund is being established. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
