Charlene V. Caldwell

Charlene V. Caldwell, age 89, of Monmouth, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home. She was born on October 8, 1921 in Millersburg, Ill., the daughter of Eldon and Lillian Frankenberry Belt. Charlene was reared and educated in Aldeo and Monmouth and attended Monmouth High School. She married Donald R. Caldwell on January 3, 1940 in Kahoka, Mo., he preceded her in death on September 12, 2008. Charlene Drove a school bus for Cavanaugh Bus Service for Warren School for 34 years. She liked fishing, bingo, and good clean fun. Charlene enjoyed all things in life and could see humor in almost any situation. Surviving Charlene is her son Terry L.Caldwell (Judith) of Mundelein, Ill., eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Dorothy Blake of Monmouth. She was preceded in death by her Husband, one son, one daughter, three sisters and one brother. Services:A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth. No visitation or calling hours are being planned.
