Charles J. Sullivan

Charles J. "Bud" Sullivan, age 95, of LeRoy, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Bud was born on February 8, 1923 in Burlington, Iowa and is the son of Charles R. and Fern Fordyce Sullivan. Bud married Lore M. Sullivan on October 14, 1958 in Decatur, Illinois and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2012. Bud was an over the road truck driver all his life and enjoyed driving for various companies. He also very much enjoyed fishing where ever he was. Bud is survived by his daughter, Birgit Voeghtly of Federal Way, Washington and his sister, Helen Branham of Grants Pass, Oregon as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in his death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Marian and Betty and one brother, Bob. As were his wishes, Charles was cremated and his ashes are to be interred in Oquawka Cemetery at a later date. No service or visitation is currently planned.
