Clarence "Bud" L. Eastman

Clarence "Bud" Eastman, Age 75, of Kirkwood, Illinois, Died December 5, 2011 at the Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Ill. Clarence was born in New Boston, Illinois on July 24, 1936 to Fred Leslie Eastman & Dorothy Maxine (Munson) Eastman. He attended school in Mercer County. Clarence served in the Air Force from September 20, 1954 to April 5, 1958. He married Marilee Ethel Wright on July 2, 1960, at 4-Square Church in Monmouth, Illinois. She preceded him in death on 22 August 2006. Clarence retired the first time from driving truck with Conoco in 1997. He later retired for the second time from driving truck with the Twomey Company in 2008. He is survived by daughter Darla Jean Schertz of Kirkwood, Illinois; Son James Dean Eastman (Kim) of Kirkwood, Illinois; Raised Brian Scott Eastman (Krisondra) of Kirkwood, Illinois. Brother Fred Jr. Eastman (Caryl) of Fort Valley , Georgia; Sister Marjorie A. Eastman of Davenport, Iowa; Sister Barbara J. Johnson (Joe) of Abingdon, Illinois. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday evening at Turnbull's from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., where his family will be present to receive friends. Memorials may be made to: 7th Day Adventist Church, Galesburg, Illinois.
