Cletus F. Rhinehart Lufkin

Cletus F. Rhinehart Lufkin, age 95, formerly of Oquawka, Ill., passed away at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri. Cletus was born on February 12, 1914, in Laconia, Indiana, the daughter of John C. and Lou M. Faith Timberlake. She was reared and educated in Elizabeth, Indiana. Cletus married Forrest Rhinehart on October 9, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa. She later married Frank Lufkin on July 15, 1960 in Clarksville, Indiana. Cletus was a seamstress and worked for a time at Formfit in Monmouth, Illinois. She later worked as a nurses aide at the Schlotzhaur Home in Oquawka, Illinois. She often was seen driving in her car. She is survived by 4 sons: Merle Timberlake and Larry Rhinehart, both of West Plains, Missouri; and Forrest Jon Rhinehart of St.Francisville, Missouri, and Richard Rhinehart. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers and one sister. Services:A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at the Oquawka Cemetery, Oquawka. No visitation or calling hours are being planned Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka is in charge of the arrangements.
