Damon Rayne Jennings

Damon Rayne Jennings, infant son of David Jennings and Cheryl James, was born July 29, 2014 at 7:50 p.m. at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.  He only stayed here for a short time, passing at 10:45 p.m. Damon is survived by his parents of Galesburg; paternal grandfather, Ray Jennings of Arizona; Maternal grandparents, Cathy and David James of Galesburg; paternal great grandmother Donna Harer of Elroy, WI; three brothers, Andrew Ricco and River Jennings both of Galesburg and Tyler Jennings of Elroy, WI; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his favorite great aunt Rhea Jennings-Oaks. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Madeline Jennings. Although Damon was only with us a short while he deeply affected our lives and will live on through us. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of Watson-Thomas Funeral Home.
