Donald J. Bothwell

Donald J. Bothwell, age 58, of rural Keithsburg, Illinois; passed away at 1:30 am on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at OSF St.Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Donald was born on April 15, 1956 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the son of Donald E. and Marianne Schuetz. He was raised in Galesburg, IL and in Oquawka where they moved to in 1969. He attended school in Oquawka and graduated from Union High School with the class of 1974. He was married to Christina E. Miller on April 13, 1985 in Keithsburg, Illinois. She is surviving. Don began work at Gale Products in Galesburg as a machinist. He then began as an auto body specialist at Beverlin's in Aledo. After that he began on his own as an auto body specialist in Oquawka, Illinois and was self employed. Don has been disabled in recent years. He is a true handyman and loved to help anybody with odd jobs locally. He is survived by his wife Christina of rural Keithsburg, IL and his daughter, Marianne Lozier of Tennessee, IL. and two sons, Donald (fiamce Savannah Martin) Bothwell, Jr. of Sanannah Georgia, and Christopher (fianc? Sierra Swafford) Bothwell of Oquawka. Illinois. There are four grandchildren. There is one brother Werner Bothwell of Oquawka, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Services:A graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday morning in the Oquawka Cemetery. Interment will be in the Oquawka Cemetery. No memorial fund has been specified by the family. Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka is in charge of the arrangements.
