Donald W. Bowling

Donald W. Bowling, age 52, of Galesburg, Illinois; passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois on August 23, 2013 at 6:55 am. Donald was born on November 28, 1960 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Donald P. and Kathryn L. Bundren Bowling. He received his education in the Monmouth schools graduating from Monmouth High School with the class of 1979. Donald lived in the Beechwood / Smyrna, Tennessee areas for a number of years working as a machine operator. Due to health reasons, he returned to Monmouth where he has resided for the past five years. He has been limited due to his health. He is survived by his mother Kathryn Bowling of Galesburg, a sister Debra (Allen) Rock of Brighton,Michigan, two brothers David Bowling (Tammy Easley) of Galesburg and Richard D. Bowling of Nashville, TN., Nieces, Jennifer(John) Monroe, Heather (Mike) Hudson, Ariel Rock and Allison Bowling. A number of other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, August 28,2013 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery. His family plans to receive friends on Tuesday evening August 27 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth.
