Donna E. Lodwick

Donna E. Lodwick, age 87, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 12:15 P.M. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She was born on November 20, 1930 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Wilson T. and Ada E. (Loptien) Lusk. Donna was raised and attended school in Monmouth, Illinois. She married Clifford Lodwick and they were later divorced. Donna worked at Gale in Galesburg, Illinois and retired from there. She later provided in-home care for the elderly for many people in the area. Donna enjoyed working in her yard, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, and baking pies and cakes. She most loved her life, her family, and attending her grandchildren's events. Donna attended the River of Life Church in Monmouth, Illinois. She is survived by three daughters; Janice Stokes of Monmouth, IL, Ada Lodwick of New Albany, IN, and Linda (Shawn) Hart of Monmouth, IL, four sons; Cary (Mary) Lodwick of Galesburg, IL, Stanley (Carla) Lodwick of Galesburg, IL, Greg Lodwick of Monmouth, IL, and Jesse (Billi) Anderson of Monmouth, IL. Also surviving Donna are many grandchildren,great-grandchildren, and her four legged child, Bengy. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Welty, and one brother, Bill Lusk. A funeral service is planned for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. A visitation will be from Noon-2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family interment will be at a later date. A memorial fund is being established for her family.
