Dorothy M. Wasson

Dorothy M. Wasson, age 86, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at 9:42 am on January 21, 2015 at the Monmouth Nursing Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Dorothy was born on May 17, 1928 in St.Louis, Missouri and is the daughter of Elmer and Grace Sexton Lindstrom. She was raised in St. Louis Missouri and later received her education and General Education Degree. She married F. Dale Wasson on April 25, 1958 in Monmouth, Illinois. He passed away on September 2, 2003. Dorothy was a homemaker and also for a time was in sales as an insurance agent for Aflac Insurance. She enjoyed attending church and spreading the word of the church, time with her family and friends, and meeting and helping new people. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Steve) Ross of Biggsville, IL and two sons, Paul (Theresa) Wasson of Glenn Coe, IL and Don Kaminski of Danville, NH. She has eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in her death by her parents, husband Dale, and a son Karl Kaminski Services:Cremation rites are to be accorded. A service to celebrate her birth is to be scheduled at a later date
