Edward E. Ronk

Edward E. Ronk, of Oquawka, formerly of Galesburg, died at 12:02 p.m. on Tuesday March 16, 2010 at home. Ed was born on February 5, 1930 in Aurora, the son of Harold W. and Ida Berry Ronk.  Surviving Ed is his brother, Tom (Ellen) Ronk of Galesburg; and a sister-in-law, LaVaughn Ronk of Galesburg.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Ed served in the US Army.  He was a self employed painter for many years. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
