Elsie D. Adair, age 77, of Oquawka, passed away at 3:15 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 at Oak Lane Nursing Home and Rehab in Stronghurst, Ill. She was born on August 27th, 1934 in Biggsville, Ill., she is the daughter of Chester and Elsie M. Dobbs Paul. Elsie work at Warren Achievement Industries in Monmouth. Surviving Elsie are two sisters; Deloris Haynes of Oquawka, Ill., and Catherine Adair of Little York, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister-in-law and two nephews. Services:A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka. Her family will be present an hour prior to the service to receive friends at the funeral home. Interment will be in Biggsville Cemetery in Biggsville, Ill. A memorial fund has been established for the Oak Lane Nursing Home.
