Euline Z. Spain

Euline Spain, age 79, of Monmouth, Ill., passed away 7:25 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Rosewood Care Center of Galesburg, Ill. Born on September 20, 1930, in Brookport, Ill. she was the daughter of James and Eula Henley Wilburn. On December 31, 1949, she married James W. "Jay" Spain in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1999. Euline was a homemaker and had volunteered at Jamieson Community Center in Monmouth and was very involved in her church. Her hobbies were reading , crafting, and shopping on QVC Surviving Euline are two daughters, Jayne Lee of Pearlington, Miss., and Sue Moore of Dexter, Mo., ten grandsons, two granddaughters and many great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, and daughter Julie Mize. Services:Cremation has been accorded. No services are being planned. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
