Frances L. Isenberg

Frances L. Isenberg, age 91, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Monmouth Nursing Home in Monmouth. Frances was born on March 8, 1917 in Cave City, Kentucky, the daughter of Noah and Sarah Roundtree Estes. She was raised and educated in Cave City and moved to Monmouth as a young woman. Frances married Thomas Jeff Isenberg on November 18, 1937 in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1995. Frances was a homemaker in her own home. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Burlington, Iowa and then later in Galesburg, Illinois. Frances enjoyed being with her family, cooking and doing needlework. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Martin of Monmouth, one son Carrel Isenberg of Kirkwood, Illinois, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Frances' extended family is Gay and Mary Ann bowman and Jeremy Hull. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery, Monmouth. Her family will be present one hour prior to the service at Turnbull's. A memorial fund is being established for the Monmouth Nursing Home Christmas Fund.
