Frank J. Peel

Frank J. Peel, age 54, passed away at 3:59 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth. Frank was born on September 17, 1953, in Monmouth, Illinois. He is the son of Floyd J and Ruth V Hanley Peel. Frank was reared and educated in Kirkwood, Illinois, and graduated from Yorkwood High School in 1971. He married June Daily. Frank has been disabled and a resident of this area most of his life. He is a member of the Kingdom Hall of JehovahWitnesses in Monmouth. Surviving Frank are three Sons, Matthew Peel and Kasi, currently serving in the United States Marine Corps in Iraque, David Peel of Galesburg, Illinois, Jon Peel and his Fiance Stephanie Byron of Galesburg. Also surviving are Three grandchildren; Kylynne, Tycen, and Haylee, Two step grandsons, Micheal, and Anthony. His mother, Ruth Peel of Kirkwood, Illinois. Four brothers; Ralph Peel and Bess of Kirkwood, Ora Peel and Tammy of Biggsville, IL, Paul Peel and Robin of Little York, Jeff Peel and Teresa of little York, and two sisters; Janet Earp and Steve of Biggsville, Mary Stropes of Kirkwood, Also a number of Nieces and Nephews are surviving. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Peel, two brothers, and two sisters. Services:Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Monmouth at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 30,2008. A memorial fund is being established for and by his family.
