Gregory M. Tatro

Gregory M. Tatro, age 52, of East Peoria, Ill., passed away at 4:50 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria, Ill. Gregory was born on December 1, 1959 in Rhinelander, Wi., he is the son of Anthony A. and Carol L. Stroede Tatro. He was reared and educated in Warren County and graduated from Warren School. Gregory was married to Lori Fillman. He worked as a regional manager for Kaiser Contract Cleaning in Keiler, Wi, for 25 years. He loved to go fishing, boating, camping, and was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan. Gregory is survived by his daughter Nicole Tatro (Travis Broadfield) of Pekin, Ill., one son Nicholas Tatro of Morton, Ill., grandson Ryder Broadfield of Pekin, Ill., one brother Troy Tatro (Dawn) of Monmouth, Ill., one sister Toni Lee Tatro of Kirkwood, Ill., father Anthony Tatro of Sarasota, Fl., step father Grant Martin of Gilbertsville, Ky, three nieces; Katrina Tatro of Monmouth, Ill., Tara Tatro of Lakehurst, Nj., and Rachel Bishop. Two nephews also survive Carl Peel and Bob Peel both of Kirkwood, Ill. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother Kyle Tatro. Services:Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Ill. Friends may call and hour prior to the service at the funeral home where his family will be present to receive friends. A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
