Infant Dallas L. Root

Infant Dallas L. Root, of Monmouth, passed away at 5:47 a.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth. He was born on January 5, 2011 in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Danny L. and Diane L. Vancil Root. Dallas is survived by his parents, two brothers Dawson and Dalton Root and his twin sister Dani Root all of Monmouth. Step Brothers Jacob and Dylan Root and step sister Haylie Root, all of Monmouth. Dallas's Maternal Grandparents are Glenn & Cindy Vancil of Swan Creek, Ill. and Paternal Grandfather is Danny Root, Sr. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother Debbie Root, and Great Grandparents Chester and Wilma McBride. Services:A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial fund has been established.
