Jerry D. Greene

Jerry D. Greene, age 53, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 1:45 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. He was born on July 30, 1962 in Muskogee, OK, the son of Terrance T. and Wanda J. (Edlemon) Casey. Jerry was a graduate of Westmer High School. On February 19, 1994, he married Lynne A. Johnson in Oquawka, IL and she is surviving. Jerry was a carpenter and held many jobs over the years. He enjoyed fishing and mushrooming. He loved being with his family. Jerry is survived by his wife Lynne, one daughter, Presley Greene of Oquawka, his mother, Wanda J. Casey of Oquawka, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Marci Steel. Memorial Service A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Walking Eagle in Oquawka, Illinois. Cremation is being accorded.
