Jewell M. Buskirk

Jewell M. Buskirk, at 83, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at Monmouth Nursing Home on December 25th at 10:43 pm. Jewell was born on January 28, 1929 in Cave City, Kentucky and is the daughter of William Parker and Eva J. Coats Spearman. Jewell was raised and educated in Cave City, Kentucky where she attended local public schools. Jewell was employed forty years at the Monmouth Pottery or Western Stoneware in Monmouth. She is a member of the VFW Auxillary and the former Eagles Auxillary. She enjoyed gardening, her friends, and socializing. She is survived by her half sister and brother Linda Lou Wilson of Blythe, California, and Bill Spearman and special friend Donna Newton of Monmouth, Illinois. Also a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Services:Cremation is being accorded and no service is planned at present. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
