John P Setser

John P. Setser, age 38, of Lincoln, Illinois; passed away at 1:30 am on July 12, 2013 at Family Medical Center in Lincoln, Illinois. John was born on October 9, 1974 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the son of John W. and Linda R. Whitmore Setser. He was raised in Henderson County and attended and graduated from Warren Achievement School. John enjoyed puzzles and participating each year in the Special Olympics. He has been most of his years by his illness. Surviving is his mother Linda Setser of Oquawka, Illinois and his sister Dawn (Ron) Scott of Media, Illinois and brother Stephen (Charity) Setser of Monmouth, Illinois. His grandmother survives, Dorothy Whitmore of Burlington, Iowa and a number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives. John is preceded in his death by his father, and his grandparents. Services:A funeral service will be at Turnbull Funeral home in Oquawka, Illinois on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Oquawka cemetery. His family plans a visitation on Thursday for the hour prior to the service, 9:30 am to 10:30am A memorial fund is being established by his family.
