Johnny Ray Mesecher

Johnny Ray Mesecher, age 21, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at his Monmouth residence on Sunday June 16, 2013 at 12:43 am. Johnny was born on January 28, 1992 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the son of Amy Lynn Ray and Johnny Ray Mesecher. He was raised in Monmouth and attended Monmouth public schools and graduated from Monmouth High School. He was enrolled at Carl Sandburg College to begin in the fall. He began work at " "McDonalds" in Monmouth and for the last three years has been shift Manager at the Taco Bell restaurant also in Monmouth. He enjoyed hangin' out with his friends and his family. Surviving Johnny is his mother Amy Mesecher of Monmouth, Illinois and father Johnny R. Mesecher of Roseville, Illinois His grandmother, Barbara, and the late, Rudy Ray of Monmouth, Illinois. One sister, Kaitlyn and one brother, Andrew Mesecher also are surviving and at home. A number of aunts, uncles, and cousins are also surviving him. Johnny is preceded in death by his Grandparents and two uncles. Services:A funeral service will be on Thursday June 20, 2013 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL at 10:00 am. Interment will be in the Monmouth Cemetery. His family plans visitation on Wednesday evening with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial fund is being established by his family.
