Joseph C. "Joe" Mcintire

Joe McIntire, age 37, of Logan, Ohio; formerly of Oquawka, Illinois passed away of natural causes at 11:30 p.m., April 1, 2008, at his home in Logan. Born September 27, 1970 in Monmouth, he was the son of Ray and Carole Coover McIntire. He graduated from Union High School in 1988. He then completed an Associates Degree in Computer Technology at Southeastern College in Burlington, Iowa. Survivors include his Parents Ray and Carole of Oquawka, Two Brothers Ray McIntire,Jr. and Amy of Oquawka, and Craig McIntire and Tammy of Blue Springs, Missouri. Maternal Grandmother Betty Coover of Oquawka, Illinois. Three Nieces Hannah and Megan McIntire of Oquawka, and Tori Sowers of Blue Springs, OH. Two Nephews Matthew McIntire of Lenexa, Kansas and Travis Sowers of Brunswick, Missouri; Special Friend Jamey Littleton of Logan, Ohio. Joe is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Jr.Coover and his Paternal Grandparents William "Pete" and Alleyne McIntire. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive Services:A gathering of family and friends is planned at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, IL on Friday April 11, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Cremation has been accorded.
