Joyce Arlene Wickline

Joyce Arlene Wickline, 79, of Monmouth, passed away on July 19, 2012 at the OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, IL. She was born on September 15, 1932 to Raymond Barney and Helen Haber Hume. Joyce attended Cedar Hill Grade School in rural Warren County, and later attended Monmouth High School. Joyce married Donald E. Wickline on June 5, 1954 he preceded her in death on January 18, 1981. She worked for Dors in Galesburg, IL and later at Strom Center in Monmouth, IL. Joyce was a homemaker. She was an avid sports fan, and liked to watch the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals, and the University of Michigan Wolverines. Joyce enjoyed being on the water, camping, and fishing. She also liked working in her yard. Most of all, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by one son Daniel E. Wickline (Renee) of Alexis, Ill., five grandchildren; Jennifer Wickline-Hill (Jim) of Nashville, Tn., Patricia J. Scanlon of Galesburg, Ill., Katie R. Wickline of Terra Haute, In., Hailey D. Wickline of Alexis, Ill., and Parker D. Wickline, of Alexis, Ill. Also surviving are great grandchildren; Emily Scanlon, Tucker Scanlon, Alexander Scanlon, all of Galesburg, Ill. One sister Sandra Abbadusky, one brother Howard D. Hume, nephew Sean D. Abbadusky, niece Lannette S. Ferch, and other numerous nieces and nephews survive. Services:A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth. Cremation will be accorded. A memorial fund is being established and will be designated at a later date.
