Judith A. Wright

Judith A. Wright, age 69, of Kirkwood, passed away at 7:01 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth. She was born on September 3, 1941 in Ottumwa, Ia., the daughter of Everett and Leota Banjy Rush. Judith was reared and educated in Ottumwa, Ia.. She married Jim Wright on May 15, 1963 in Ottumwa, Ia., he survives. Judith worked at Larry's Foods & Tom and Linda's in Monmouth for a number of years until 2002. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Judith is survived by her husband Jim of Kirkwood, her daughter Chris Wright of Monmouth, two sons; Jeff Wright (Paula) of Ramsey, Ill., and Justin Wright (Megan) of Monmouth. Also surviving are three granddaughters Elsie, Mae, and Macy, and three grandsons; George, Griffin and Timothy. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bud Rush, and one niece Rhonda Rush. Services:A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2011 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial fund has been established for the Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
