Kathryn A. Reed

Kathryn A. Reed, 73, of Abingdon, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at home. She was born June 8, 1946 in Harvey, IL, the daughter of John Philip and Dolores Mae (Henderson) Holland.  Kathy married Billy Wayne Reed on September 23, 2006 in Paxton.  He survives.  She is also survived by two sons, Matthew (Fiona Mountcastle) Cassman of Berwick and Philip (Wanda) Cassman of Manteno; one sister, Cyd Holland; and eight grandchildren.   Kathy graduated from University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse.  She was a teacherr for many years, prior to her retirement. Cremation rites will be accorded.  Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
