Larry J. Hagerman

Larry J. Hagerman, age 72, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his residence in Oquawka. He was born on October 3, 1945, the son of James and Nancy (Kellums) Hagerman. Larry attended United Township High School. He was previously married to Almeta Anderson and Linda Owens. Larry worked at McLaughlin Auto Body for over 30 years. He retired from there in 2011. Larry enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, racecars, and anything automotive. He also enjoyed woodworking. Larry is survived by one daughter, Denise Ballard of Burlington, IA, two sons; Larry Hagerman of Oquawka, IL and Bill Hagerman of Moline, IL, grandchildren; Alexandra Schnell, Logan Hagerman, Madison Hagerman, James Hagerman, and Chole Ballard. One sister, JoAnn Friend is also surviving. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Demont, and his son, Mitchell Hagerman. A graveside service is planned for 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona, Illinois. No visitation is planned.
