Lisa Ann Warden, age 44, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at OSF St.Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at 2:50 am. Lisa was born on July 15, 1969 in Monmouth and is the daughter of Pablo and Mary Louise Dutton Taylor. Lisa was raised in Monmouth where she attended public schools. She was a graduate of Geneva High School and for a time attended Carl Sandburg College. Lisa married George H. Warden on December 23, 2003 in Monmouth, Illinois and he survives. She began work at Farmland Foods in Monmouth, and then went to Warren Achievement Industries here in Monmouth. Lisa later worked at Tom and Linda's Food Store as a bookkeeper, and lastly at Family Dollar, and the Country Club restaurant "Generations". She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Monmouth. Lisa is survived by her husband George H. "Red" Warden, three sons; Zach Conard and Cody Severns, both of Monmouth, Ill., and Kurren A. Ross of Ft. Worth, Texas, her Maternal Parents, Mary and Pablo Fonseca of Monmouth, IL. and Paternal parents, Marian and Paul Burton and Reverend George Redd of Ft.Madison, Iowa. There are two sisters Terri (Wrigley) Bynum of Charlestown, Rhode Island and Brenda (Adrian) Wallace of Galesburg, Illinois. Two brothers, Lance Taylor of Wilmette, IL and Jake Taylor of Crystal Lake, IL. are surviving. She is preceded in death by her Maternal and Paternal grandparents, and one step sister, Heather Ireland. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Interment will be in Monmouth Cemetery. Her family will receive friends for visitation before the service at Turnbulls from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A memorial fund is being established and will be designated at a later date.
