Logan A. Dix, age 9, of the Renaissance Care Center in Canton, Illinois; passed away at Graham Hospital in Canton, on July 13, 2010 at 7:26 am. Logan was born on May 28, 2001 in Peoria, and is the son of Michael A. and Bobbie Jo Jones Dix. Logan has been developmentally challenge for his entire life. He enjoys the Christian Cartoon series "Veggie Tales" and loved his family and a good smile. Surviving are his parents, Michael and Bobbie Dix of Galesburg, Illinois and his brother Devon at home. Also surviving is his maternal grandmother Teresa (Randy) Storz of Galesburg, IL, maternal grandfather John (Sue) Jones of Roseville, IL; great grandmother Connie (Jim) Banks in East Galesburg; maternal great grandfather James (Leta) Fell of Smithshire, IL; and maternal great grandfather Kenneth (Kim) Jones in Cuba, IL. Also surviving is Logan's paternal grandfather Marty (Misty) Dix of Roseville, IL; paternal grandmother Kathy Nevious of Mt.Vernon, IL; and paternal great grandmother Pat (Larry) Bultemeier of Roseville, Illinois. Logan is preceded in death by his brother Elisha Dix. Services:A funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday morning at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL. His family will be present at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to the service. Interment will be in the Knoxville Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established by his family.
