Lorraine B. Lovdahl, 85, formerly of Oquawka, Illinois; of Houston, Texas passed away on June 12, 2014 at Houston Hospice. Lorraine was born March 4, 1929 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Grace and Roy Leake. She married Martin R. Lovdahl on February 19, 1949. Surviving are her daughter Carolyn Lovdahl of Lincoln, Illinois; son, Bob (Becky) Lovdahl of Houston Texas; five grandchildren, Nancy Crall, Marty Short, Michael Norman, Shannon Rodriguez, and Jason Lovdahl, eleven great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. There also is one sister, Carolyn Myers of Charleston, West Virginia surviving. She is preceded in her death by her parents, husband Martin, one son Ronald, one sister Juanita, and one brother Kenneth. Services:Cremation has been accorded in Texas. A graveside committal service is planned at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday July 15th, 2014 at 10:00 am. A memorial fund is being established for the Knox County Humane Society.
