Lucy I. Crouser

Lucy I. Crouser, age 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Kirkwood, Illinois, passed away at 10:40 P.M. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Indian Springs Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on April 11, 1949 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Dale E. and Mildred B. (Munson) Van Riper. Lucy attended schools in the area and was a graduate of Yorkwood High School. On February 14, 1992, she married Robert L. Crouser and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2017. She was a homemaker. Lucy was a member of the Rainbow Girls, PEO, and UMCK. Lucy is survived by one daughter, Christina (Jeff) Stockelman of Cincinnati, OH one step-daughter, Vicki (Mike) Tomso of Litchfield, IL one step-son, Eric Crouser of Portland, OR, nine grandchildren; Matthew, Patrick, Jennifer, Zachary, Bradley, Rebekah, Dustin, Elly, and Logan, one great-granddaughter, Ja'Niyah, one sister, Linda Fredrickson Morton, IL, and two brothers; John (Bev) Van Riper and Keith Van Riper both of Kirkwood, IL. Many nieces and nephews are also surviving. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Chuck Tomlin.
