Lyndia Jo Fridley-Owen

Lyndia Jo Fridley-Owen, 51, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2026 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Lyndia was born December 3, 1974 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Gary Lynn and Ellen Jane Davis. She graduated from Kewanee High School.

Lyndia is survived by two sisters, Sandra Davis of Galesburg and Stacey Swanson of Nevada. Lyndia is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Natasha Anderson on March 5, 2026.

Lyndia was a talented artist who loved taking pictures and writing, especially poems, short stories, and different articles. She loved all her animals she had throughout the years, and leaves behind two cats, Tigger Boo and Demetrius.
