Margo S. Louck

Margo S. Louck, age 59, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at 5:00 pm on November 9th, 2011 at her Monmouth residence. Margo was born on September 1, 1952 in Monmouth, and is the daughter of Harold " Snyd " and Dorothy Wiley Snyder. She attended Willits grade school, Central Junior High, and Monmouth High School where she graduated with the class of 1970. She was married to John M. Louck on September 18, 1971 in Monmouth, Illinois. Margo was first employed at Barnes Grocery Store in Monmouth where she was a cashier. She then was a "stay at home" mom, taking care of her family and raising her children for the next sixteen to twenty years. Margo was active in and employed for years at H. Snyder and Company family business formerly in Monmouth where she served in many capacities including Secretary / Treasurer. Margo also, after retirement in 1994, provided day care for her grandson which she did to the present. Margo is survived by her husband John Louck of Monmouth, IL and two daughters Dr. Amy S. Louck of Macomb, Illinois and Amanda Louck Campbell (wife of James "J.R."Campbell) of Monmouth, Illinois. One grandson Andrew "AJ" Campbell and step granddaughters Kali and Morgan Campbell also survive Margo. One brother survives, Larry Snyder and his wife Darlene of Monmouth, Illinois. A number of other relatives also are surviving. She is preceded in her death by her parents. Services:A memorial service will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday November 15th, at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Cremation has been accorded. Her family plans to receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home on Monday evening (11/14) from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorial funds have been established for either Western Illinois Animal Rescue or Hospice Compassus.
