Maria Miranda

Maria G. Miranda, 45, of 859 Ave. B, Galesburg, died at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007 at home. Maria was born on July 6, 1961 in Mexico, the daughter of Gregorio and Naralie Ayala Miranda. Surviving Maria are 3 sons: Sergio Miranda of San Pedro, CA, Jonathan and Anthony Catzin both of Galesburg; 2 daughters: Jenesis and Stephanie Miranda both of Galesburg; 2 brothers: Francisco Miranda of Beardstown and Raphael Miranda of Mexico; and 1 sister: Marie Delourdes of Mexico. Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister Ava. Maria worked as a cook at Cooke School and also worked at Steak-N-Shake. She attended the Salvation Army. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday June 28, 2007 at St. Joseph Cemetery, with Capt. Rick Ray, officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday June 27, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
