Maribeth Siler Profile Photo

Maribeth Siler, 87, formerly of Peoria, Illinois passed peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Magnolia Village, Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born in Biggsville, Illinois on October 18, 1925, the daughter of Earl and Leota Dye Bigger. She married Junior Robert Siler on September 3, 1944 in Monmouth, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2008. Also preceding her in death are two brothers; Ronald Bigger and Richard Bigger. She is survived by one son, Robert J. (Pamela) Siler of Glasgow, Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Jane (Ed) Chard of St. Louis, Missouri; one granddaughter, Kathyrn (Jeffery) Schormann of Ellisville, Missouri; one grandson, Bret (Natasha) Chard of St. Louis, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Megan, and Jack Schormann of Ellisville, Missouri and Madilyn, Riley, Emma, and Avery Chard of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Jane Weir of Gladstone, Illinois. She was a homemaker and loved to work in her flower gardens. She was also a former volunteer at the American Red Cross, Wildlife Prairie Park, Luthy Botanical Garden and Constitution Garden in Peoria, Illinois. She was a past member of the Navy Mother's Club and Marine Corp League Auxiliary in Peoria, Illinois. Services:Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10:00 am to Noon at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Biggsville, Illinois. Funeral services will follow the visitation with burial in the Biggsville Cemetery. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, Glasgow, Kentucky assisted with arrangements.
