Marjorie A. Smith

Marjorie A. Smith, age 86, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at the home of her daughter on December 31, 2012 at 12:24 pm. Marjorie was born on January 3, 1926 in Laura, Illinois and is the daughter of Everett and Lula Mae Roberts Reimolds. She was reared and educated in Laura, Illinois and Cameron, Illinois where she attended local rural schools. She was married to William R. Smith on December 7, 1944 in Monmouth, Illinois and he proceeded her in death on August 1, 2010. Marjorie was employed for a number years at Glastex in Monmouth, IL and was there until the business closed. She is survived by three daughters, Judy Hull of Monmouth, IL; Kimberly (Brian) Temple of Los Alamos, NM; and Tami Piacenza of Macomb, IL. and one son, Rodney (Debbie) Smith of Monmouth, Illinois. Seven grandchildren, Tracy (Rhonda) Hull, Kristine (Richard) Ischer, Kara Peterson, and Kiersten and Connor Temple, Cory Smith and Hannah Piacenza. . Six Great grandchildren, Megan (Hull) Womble, Aaron, Jeremy, and Nicholas Hull, and Ryan and Renee Ischer. There also are four great, great, grandchildren surviving. Two brothers survive, Robert (Dixie) Reimolds and Paul (Carole) Reimolds both of Monmouth, Illinois. She is preceded in her death by her parents, husband, daughter DeeAnn, infant son Stephen, and son in law Jerry Hull, as well as eleven sisters, and two brothers. Services:Cremation has been accorded, and a private family memorial service will be planned at a later date.
